Director
I joined the University of Pittsburgh international programs team in 2011 and now serve as the Director of International Programs at Pitt Business.  My portfolio of responsibilities include designing, creating and implementing international academic, internship and research opportunities for University of Pittsburgh undergraduate business students. Prior to joining the University of Pittsburgh I spent 15 years in Colorado and Washington D.C. as a consultant and executive for a variety of nonprofit and government organizations serving environmental, human service and early childhood education issues.  I studied abroad in Germany for a semester during undergrad and the highs and lows of that experience were so powerful that years later I decided to pursue a second career in higher education international programming.  My educational background includes a Master of Nonprofit Management from Regis University and a BA in Political Science from Kalamazoo College.  During free time I enjoy long backpacking trips, following Detroit-based professional sports, painting, going to concerts, and exploring new places - especially those overseas.  Please contact me 2209 Sennott Square, 412.383.7321 or bschultz@katz.pitt.edu.
